Since we started East Avenue Books in 2009 we have hosted more than 40 events, including 21 book launches, book and poetry readings, meet-the author sessions, panel discussions, and SALA exhibitions.
Some of the highlights include A Suitcase of Memories – an exhibition by South Australian artists and writers featuring suitcases of childhood and family memories; the 2016 SALA exhibition by Lyn John showcasing embroidered images of The Dare Sisters and other sister Edwardian musical-theatre performers; cat paintings by Angelee Theodoros; and the launch of the Picaro Poets series on behalf of Ginninderra Press.
If you are interested in holding an event at the shop, please contact Peter or Joan for details.
